Good to know

Before you come.

Getting here

About 45 minutes north of Albufeira and one hour from Faro International Airport. The final 1 km is dirt — passable by an ordinary car.

The quinta

Rustic, and in steady improvement as we renovate the stone farmhouse. Full off-grid electricity and high-speed Starlink throughout.

Nearby

The Tabernas da Serra — mountain taverns serving authentic Alentejan culture, deep in the Serra do Caldeirão.

Pets

A pet-guest may be possible — ask us in advance. Boetie roams freely, so it's worth a conversation first.
